The interior architecture and design minor enriches knowledge in designing interior environments. Emphasizing research and space programming for human well-being, the minor enables students to practice designing spaces like hospitals, hotels, and innovative commercial and public areas. The interior architecture and design minor is open NewSchool undergraduate students not enrolled in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Design.
Students interested in the interior architecture and design minor should obtain approval from their academic advisor, as well as the program chairs for both their major and minor. To earn a minor, students must successfully complete their major and allocate a minimum of 15 credits to specific courses. A minor is reflected on the student’s transcript and diploma.
